About Cook & Cook

A Passion for Property

Cook & Cook was established by two brothers; Adrian, a building surveyor, and Jeremy, a quantity surveyor. Sharing a passion for property, they wanted to improve the built environment that surrounded them. To achieve this, they set up a consultancy that offered a number of professional services. Over the last 10 years they have worked on a wide range of projects, delivering their expertise with professionalism and dedication. From the restoration of urban sites, such as the award-winning Chapter House, to the construction of individual, sustainable homes in the countryside, Cook & Cook has become a reliable practice serving the local community.

Adrian and Jeremy both returned to Cambridge after studying at their respective universities to join their late father, who had his own architectural practice, to hone their skills on projects in and around city. Passing on years of experience to both sons, Neil was keen to see the brothers establish a separate business that was able to offer their own unique range of services. In April 2012, the two brothers (with the support of their father) launched Cook & Cook.

Neil himself was also taught by his father, Eric, who was a site foreman and carpenter/joiner. After studying architectural technology in London, Neil went on to work for a range of leading firms in the city for over decade. Neil then applied his skillset in New Zealand for 5 years before settling in Cambridgeshire. Neil was part of Anglia Secure Homes before setting up CHS Architects in the 90s.
